How do I create a Masjid account?

Go to portal.masjidi.app and create an account. Add your masjid profile, contact details, logo (PNG or PDF around 512×512), address, and prayer settings. After setup, you will receive a Masjid ID used to connect the TV app and sync the screen.

Can I download Masjidi app on a smart TV?

Yes. Masjidi app works on smart TVs running Google TV or those with a connected Google TV Box. You can download it from Google Play Store.

Can I display Masjidi app on a regular screen at home or office?

Yes. If your screen isn't smart, connect a Google TV Box (like Xiaomi TV Box), install Masjidi app from Play Store, and enter the Masjid ID to start displaying content.

Does the screen need to stay connected to the internet?

Yes. The TV screen should stay connected for automatic prayer-time sync, Iqama changes, announcements, and content updates. After setup, the TV app can continue showing cached or preloaded information if the internet connection drops temporarily.

Can I run Masjidi app on more than one screen?

Yes. Use the same Masjid ID on every TV screen in the same masjid to keep prayer settings, Iqama times, announcements, branding, and display content synchronized.

Can I customize the design or background of Masjidi display?

Yes. From the Portal, admins can customize the masjid logo, theme color, display layout, language, time format, portrait or landscape orientation, adhan settings, announcements, programs, activities, and screen content.

Does Masjidi support multiple languages?

Yes. Masjidi supports multiple languages across the TV and mobile experience, including Arabic and English, with additional languages such as French, Urdu, Malay, Kurdish, Turkish, Portuguese, German, and more depending on the app surface.

Can I manage Masjidi control panel from my phone?

Yes. The Portal works from a mobile browser and can be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your phone or tablet, so admins can update prayer settings, Iqama times, announcements, and content without a desktop computer.

Can I display announcements, sermon topics, or upcoming events?

Yes. Admins can publish announcements, lectures, programs, activities, sermon-related updates, hadith reminders, and community notices from the Portal so they appear on the masjid screen and supported app surfaces.

How can I report an issue or request a new feature?

Contact support through the website form or email [email protected]. Include your Masjid ID, device or TV type, a clear description of the issue, and screenshots if available.

Is Masjidi really free?

Yes. Masjidi is 100% free for masjids and worshippers. There are no hidden fees, subscriptions, or paid tiers. It is offered as a waqf for the sake of Allah SWT and service of the Ummah.
