Follow these steps to verify if your TV runs original Google TV OS.
Power on your TV or Google TV streaming device.
✅ Google TV: Row-based interface with "For You", "Live", "Movies", "Apps" tabs
âš ï¸ Android TV: App-grid layout (older version)
Navigate to your TV's settings menu, then System, then About.
✅ Compatible: "Google TV OS" (with version number)
âš ï¸ Older version: "Android TV" (may not support our app)
Note: Google TV is available on popular brands such as Sony, TCL, Hisense, Philips, and Sharp. If you already have a TV but it does not run on Google TV, you will need to purchase a compatible streaming device (TV box) that runs on Google TV. We recommend the Xiaomi TV Box or Chromecast.
