Google TV Configuration for Masjidi App

Follow these configuration steps for better experience with auto-start and display settings.

Step 1: Disable Screensaver

Go to Home

On the Remote Control, press Home.

Access Developer Options

Go to Settings → Device Preferences → About.

Enable Developer Mode

Scroll to Build and click it 7–10 times until you see: "You are now a developer!"

Enable Stay Awake

A new menu Developer Options will appear. Inside Developer Options, enable Stay awake (ON).

Step 2: Remove Movie & Video Recommendations

Navigate to Account

On the Remote Control, press Home.

Access Account Settings

Go to Account → Account Thumbnail
(this is usually your Gmail initials or profile picture — e.g., Masjidi = MA).
(In some older versions: Settings → Account Preferences.)

Configure Display Settings

Select your account → a menu will appear on the right.

  • Disable Auto-play trailers.
  • Enable Apps-only mode.

Note: These configurations will ensure the Masjidi app runs smoothly on your Google TV with optimal display and power settings.
